The Phillipsburg Stateliners basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Immaculata Spartans to 58 in the Stateliners league victory on Monday.

The Stateliners now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lenape Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Phillipsburg will battle a Patriots team coming off a 63-51 non-league win over South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 13-6.

The Spartans (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Red Devil come into the Skyland - Raritan contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Ridge was defeated by The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ), 64-60, in a non-league contest.
