The Loudoun County Captains basketball team (Leesburg, VA), was overwhelmed 65-23 in Monday's league battle with the host Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA)

The Wolverines now possess a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Champe for a Freelance battle on Wednesday, January 31. Woodgrove will battle a Knights team coming off a 45-28 non-league loss to Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-9.

The Captains (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Park View (Sterling, VA). The Patriots come into the Catoctin battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Park View was overwhelmed by Broad Run (Ashburn, VA), 48-35, in a league battle.
