The Maywood CES Wolfpack basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Torres Toros to 23 in the Wolfpack league victory on Monday.

The Wolfpack now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maywood Academy for a Southern contest on Wednesday, January 31. Maywood CES will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 33-16 league loss to Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 1-11.

The Toros (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA). The Bulldogs come into the Southern contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Elizabeth was routed by Marquez (Huntington Park, CA), 46-13, in a league contest.
