Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Meadville knocked off by Oil City

The Oil City Oilers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Meadville Bulldogs to 29 in the Oilers league triumph on Monday.
The Oilers now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corry for a District 10 Region 5 contest on Thursday, February 1. Oil City will battle a Beavers team coming off a 32-19 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, PA). The Beavers record now stands at 5-7.
The Bulldogs (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Tigers enter the District 10 Region 4 contest with a 9-5 record.
