The Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Old Bridge Knights (Old Bridge, NJ), 49-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lions (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers go into the non-league test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Neptune was tipped by St. Rose (Belmar, NJ), 50-35, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host South Brunswick for a Greater Middlesex - Red test on Tuesday, January 30. Old Bridge will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 52-35 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 8-9.
