Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mifflinburg Wildcats (Mifflinburg, PA), 48-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Milton upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Black Panthers host Midd-West (Middleburg, PA) to play the Mustangs in a Heartland II bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-16. Midd-West lost 37-19 in their recent non-league bout against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Mifflinburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 47-32 league loss to Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA).
