Texas High School Basketball - Milby crushes Sharpstown

Milby Buffs (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX), 35-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Milby upgrades its record to 8-20 on the season. The Buffs travel to Austin (Houston, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Austin won 25-7 in their recent league bout against Sharpstown (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Apollos play the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 bout, on Friday, February 2. Sharpstown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 44-16 league loss to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX).
