With the victory, Shamokin Area improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA) to confront the Bluejays in a Heartland II challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 18-1. Central Columbia won 64-33 in their recent league challenge against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Mifflinburg Wildcats (Mifflinburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Montoursville will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 48-29 non-league loss to Milton (Milton, PA).
