In Monday's non-league outing, the Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oak Knoll Royals (Summit, NJ), by a margin of 53-31.
The Minutemen (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ). The Lions go into the Super Essex - American outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Immaculate Conception smashed St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ), 48-42, in a non-league outing.
