Nebraska High School Basketball - West Point-Beemer nips Oakland-Craig

West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Oakland-Craig Knights (Oakland, NE), 42-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Point-Beemer upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Madison (Madison, NE) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Knights play the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Oakland-Craig will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 48-33 non-league loss to North Bend Central (North Bend, NE).
