PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), 55-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, PikeView upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Panthers host Graham (Bluefield, VA) to play the G-Men in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The G-Men go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Graham won 60-26 in their recent non-league bout against Lebanon (Lebanon, VA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV) in a Coalfield AA bout, on Friday, February 2. Summers County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 72-51 league win over Mingo Central (Matewan, WV).
