Red Lodge Rams (Red Lodge, MT) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Shepherd Mustangs (Shepherd, MT), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Red Lodge upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Rams host Joliet (Joliet, MT) to play the J Hawks in a B District 4 bout on Friday, February 2. The J Hawks come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Joliet won 72-48 in their recent league bout against Park City (Park City, MT)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Roundup Panthers (Roundup, MT) in a B District 4 bout, on Saturday, February 3. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 64-11 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, MT).
