The South Gate Rams basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 30 in the Rams league triumph on Monday.

The Rams now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garfield for a Eastern contest on Wednesday, January 31. South Gate will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-39 league win over Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-5.

The Rough Riders (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy (South Gate, CA). The Tigers enter the Eastern contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Legacy nudged South East (South Gate, CA), 53-36, in a league contest.
