Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA), 75-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Sioux City East upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Black Raiders travel to Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) to clash with the Lynx in a Missouri River bout on Friday, February 2. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Lincoln won 65-40 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Sioux City West Wolverines (Sioux City, IA) in a Missouri River bout, on Thursday, February 1. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 74-28 league loss to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA).
