With the win, Winchester Thurston upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The travel to Springdale (Springdale, PA) to play the Dynamos in a WPIAL 2A 3 bout on Thursday, February 1. The Dynamos go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Springdale lost 90-20 in their recent league bout against Clairton (Clairton, PA)

Next up, the Ironmen play the Ellis (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 3 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Steel Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 53-20 league loss to Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA).
