University Charter Trail Blazers (Livingston, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sweet Water Bulldogs (Sweet Water, AL), 42-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, University Charter upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Trail Blazers host Central (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 15-11.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Excel Panthers (Excel, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Sweet Water will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record.
