Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA), 37-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Williams Valley upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders (Coal Township, PA) in a Schuylkill County 2 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Tri-Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 40-25 league loss to Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA).
