In Monday's league outing, the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA), by a margin of 67-31.
The Knights (17-2) will now prepare for their outing against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks go into the Valley outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Harrisonburg was trounced by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 62-26, in a league outing.
The Dragons now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Harrisonburg for a Valley outing on Friday, February 2. William Monroe will clash with a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 69-35 league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 7-11.
