West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA), 51-15 in a league bout.

With the win, West Monona upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA) to play the Panthers in a Western Valley - North bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Kingsley-Pierson lost 55-51 in their recent league bout against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA) in a Western Valley - North bout, on Saturday, February 3.
