Nevada High School Basketball - Douglas holds off Galena

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) and the host Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), saw Douglas's basketball squad hold off Galena by a tally of 37-33.

With the victory, Douglas improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to confront the Cougars in a challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Spanish Springs lost 33-32 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Galena will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Senators come into the challenge with a 18-2 record after their 36-14 league win over Reed (Sparks, NV).
