The Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) basketball nipped the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 39-32 in Monday's league test.
The Patriots (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Green Hope got by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 41-24, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cary for a test on Tuesday, January 30.
