The Mesa Verde Mavericks basketball team (Citrus Heights, CA), was overwhelmed 36-15 in Monday's league battle with the host Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA)
The Rams now possess a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dixon for a battle on Wednesday, January 31. Casa Roble will battle a Rams team coming off a 44-10 league win over Woodland (Woodland, CA). The Rams record now stands at 11-9.
The Mavericks (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pioneer (Woodland, CA). The Patriots come into the battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Pioneer trounced Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA), 1-0, in a league battle.
