Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO), 64-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Discovery Canyon upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Thunder travel to Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO) to clash with the Bears in a bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Palmer Ridge lost 59-58 in their recent non-league bout against Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Kadets clash with the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Air Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
