United Christian Academy Crusaders (Stanardsville, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Blue Ridge Christian Bears (Bridgewater, VA), 25-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, United Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Grace Christian (Staunton, VA) to play the Warriors in a bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Grace Christian lost 55-38 in their recent league bout against Appalachian Christian School (Duffield, VA)

Next up, the Bears play the Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers (Duffield, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Blue Ridge Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 55-38 league win over Grace Christian (Staunton, VA).
