The Dan River Wildcats basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting William Campbell Generals to 26 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Altavista for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Dan River will battle a Colonels team coming off a 46-43 non-league win over Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 3-5.
The Generals (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Chatham triumphed over Bassett (Bassett, VA), 50-43, in a non-league contest.
