Virginia High School Basketball - Guardian Christian Academy can't hold off The Carmel School

The The Carmel School Wildcats basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Guardian Christian Academy Royal Knights to 38 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guardian Christian Academy for a contest on Friday, February 2. The Carmel School will battle a Royal Knights team coming off a 50-32 non-league loss to Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA). The Royal Knights record now stands at 8-8.

The Royal Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against The New Community School (Richmond, VA). The Sabers enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, The New Community School was nudged by New Bridge Academy (Sandston, VA), 32-23, in a non-league contest.
