The Rock Church Lions (Franklin, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting New Life Academy Bobcats (Elizabeth City, NC), 38-19 in Monday's league test.
The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Suffolk Christian Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Knights go into the test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Suffolk Christian Academy went down by New Life Academy (Elizabeth City, NC), 37-19, in a league test.
The Bobcats now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel Assembly Christian Academy for a test on Tuesday, January 30. New Life Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 47-36 league loss to Unity Christian Academy (Chocowinity, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-11.
