New York High School Volleyball - Cooperstown overwhelmed by Mt. Markham

In Monday's non-league test, the host Mt. Markham Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Cooperstown Hawkeyes.
The Mustangs now have a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmoreland for a test on Friday, February 2. Mt. Markham will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
The Hawkeyes (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Waterville (Waterville, NY). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
Match Summary
It was supposed to be the match of the year. As we progressed through the season, and handled other teams well enough, we always had an eye on this Coop game.
It started out point for point and looked to be a long night, until great serving in set one put it away.
Second set was a different story as we took that one 25 - 12. This team as improved so much and has the ability to play incredibly well, as they showed last night.
