The Farina South Central Cougars basketball squad (Farina, IL), was outscored 48-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL)

With the victory, Altamont advances its record to 10-9 on the year. The Indians host Dieterich (Dieterich, IL) to meet the Movin Maroons in a non-league battle on Friday, January 31. The Movin Maroons enter the battle with a record of 17-4. Dieterich won 61-41 in their recent non-league battle against Brownstown/St. Elmo (St. Elmo, IL)

The Cougars now own a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brownstown/St. Elmo for a non-league battle on Friday, January 31. Farina South Central will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 61-41 non-league win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-10.
