In Wednesday's league contest, the host St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds basketball team scored a good 63-50 win over the Bellaire Eagles.

The Snowbirds (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Ironmen come into the Ski-Valley contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Mancelona was topped by East Jordan (East Jordan, MI), 77-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Central Lake Trojans (Central Lake, MI) in a Ski-Valley contest, on Friday, January 31. Bellaire will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 49-45 league win over Onaway (Onaway, MI).
