California High School Basketball - Bishop Montgomery held off by St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy

In Wednesday's league test, the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) basketball squad got by the host Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA), by a score of 50-48.

Next, the Warriors encounter the St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) in a Del Rey test, on Friday, January 31. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-9 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 18-8 record after their 100-69 league win over Serra (Gardena, CA).
