The Presque Isle Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Bucksport Golden Bucks to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now have a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Foxcroft Academy for a B North game on Saturday, February 1. Presque Isle will confront a Ponies team coming off a 49-44 league loss to Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Ponies record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Bucksport falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Golden bucks host Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME) to confront the Eagles in a B North game on Saturday, February 1. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 13-3. Ellsworth won 47-46 in their recent league game against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME)
