Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 73-46 in a league match.
With the victory, Parkwood upgrades its record to 6-13 on the year. The Wolf Pack travel to Anson (Wadesboro, NC) to face the Bearcats in a 2A/3A Rocky River match on Friday, January 31. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 13-5. Anson won 79-51 in their recent league match against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)
The Cougars now sport a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a 2A/3A Rocky River match on Tuesday, February 4. Central Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 67-36 league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-13.
