The Christopher Bearcats basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Trico Pioneers to 35 in the Bearcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bearcats now have a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Vienna for a Black Diamond - West game on Friday, January 31. Christopher will confront a Eagles team coming off a 74-53 non-league loss to Meridian (Mounds, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Trico falls to 4-18 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Sesser-Valier (Sesser, IL) to confront the Red Devils in a Black Diamond - West game on Friday, January 31. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 6-13. Sesser-Valier won 87-36 in their recent non-league game against Roosevelt (St. Louis, MO)
