Spartanburg Day Griffins (Spartanburg, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC), 51-38 in a league match.

With the victory, Spartanburg Day upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Griffins host First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC) to face the Crusaders in a SCISA 3A Region II match on Friday, January 31. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 8-11. First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest won 50-21 in their recent non-league match against Laurens Academy (Laurens, SC)

The Crusaders now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laurens Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30.
