The Josey Eagles basketball squad (Augusta, GA), was tipped 71-66 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA)

The Spartans (1-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomson (Thomson, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AA Region 4 challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Thomson edged Burke County (Waynesboro, GA), 71-63, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) in a AA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Josey will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 82-79 league win over Laney (Augusta, GA).
