The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) and the visiting Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA), observed Manor's basketball team knock off Granby by a score of 63-55.

The Mustangs (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Bookers come into the Eastern challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, Booker T. Washington was knocked off by Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 63-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets encounter the Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, January 31. Granby will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 62-50 league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA).
