The Shelley Russets basketball squad (Shelley, ID), was nudged 64-62 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Hillcrest Knights (Idaho Falls, ID)

With the victory, Hillcrest advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Knights host Blackfoot (Blackfoot, ID) to meet the Broncos in a 5A High Country battle on Friday, January 31. The Broncos enter the battle with a record of 9-6. Blackfoot won 72-50 in their recent league battle against Skyline (Idaho Falls, ID)

The Russets now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Idaho Falls for a 5A High Country battle on Friday, January 31. Shelley will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 80-43 league loss to Bonneville (Idaho Falls, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 3-12.
