California High School Basketball - Kennedy holds off Katella

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Kennedy Fighting Irish basketball team scored a close 72-68 triumph over the Katella Knights.

The Fighting Irish (23-4) will now prepare for their contest against Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Argonauts go into the Orange Coast contest with a 15-12 record. In their last contest, Garden Grove nipped Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA), 57-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights confront the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) in a Orange Coast contest, on Friday, January 31. Katella will attempt to better on its 13-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 10-15 record after their 52-32 league loss to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA).
