The Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS (Griffin, GA) basketball edged the visiting Lafayette Christian Cougars (LaGrange, GA), 2-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The LIONS now possess a 9-4 record.

With the loss, Lafayette Christian falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Konos Academy (Fayetteville, GA) to play the Condor in a GAPPS - I-AA Region 3 bout on Friday, January 31. The Condor go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Konos Academy won 74-34 in their recent league bout against Skipstone Academy (Griffin, GA)
