The Lakeview Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Tri County Area Vikings to 57 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Central Montcalm for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Lakeview will confront a Hornets team coming off a 62-47 non-league win over Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Tri County Area falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Vikings host Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a Central State - Gold game on Friday, January 31. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 10-4. Big Rapids lost 53-49 in their recent non-league game against St. Francis (Traverse City, MI)
