Washington High School Basketball - Lincoln nips Silas

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Lincoln Abes basketball team scored a close 62-61 win over the Silas Rams.

The Abes (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA). The Cougars come into the 3A Puget Sound contest with a 1-18 record. In their last contest, Central Kitsap was tipped by Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA), 86-53, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a 3A Puget Sound contest, on Friday, January 31. Silas will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 75-47 league win over Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA).
