In Wednesday's non-league test, the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), by a score of 67-47.
Next, the Falcons encounter the Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT) in a Metro test, on Friday, January 31. North Country Union will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Crimson Tide come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 78-48 non-league loss to Montpelier (Montpelier, VT).
The Vikings (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Lake Region (Orleans, VT). The Rangers go into the Capital game with a 5-7 record.
