In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Westfield Mustangs basketball team scored a good 71-58 triumph over the MacArthur Generals.

The Mustangs (16-12) will now prepare for their contest against Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX). The Falcons go into the 6A Region II District 14 contest with a 8-20 record. In their last contest, Benjamin Davis was topped by Aldine (Houston, TX), 64-51, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Generals battle the Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 contest, on Saturday, February 1. MacArthur will attempt to better on its 9-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 13-16 record after their 45-36 league win over Spring (Spring, TX).
