The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders (North Wildwood, NJ) and the visiting Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ), observed Wildwood Catholic's basketball team edge Mainland Regional by a score of 67-62.

The Crusaders (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ). The Wildcats come into the Cape/Atlantic - American challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph edged St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ), 71-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Millville Thunderbolts (Millville, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Mainland Regional will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 59-28 league loss to Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ).
