Michigan High School Basketball - Vassar toppled by Millington

Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), 66-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Millington advances its record to 13-1 on the year. The Cardinals host Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 9-7. Unionville-Sebewaing lost 61-51 in their recent league match against Reese (Reese, MI)

The Vulcans now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reese for a Greater Thumb - West match on Friday, January 31. Vassar will face a Rockets squad coming off a 61-51 league win over Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 8-7.
