In Wednesday's league contest, the host Penns Valley Area Rams basketball team scored a big 74-41 triumph over the Tyrone Golden Eagles.
The Rams (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Eagles go into the Laurel Highlands contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, Somerset was trounced by Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA), 113-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles confront the Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands contest, on Friday, January 31. Tyrone will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 16-0 record after their 73-48 league win over Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA).
