North Carolina High School Basketball - Research Triangle falls to Wake Prep Academy

The Research Triangle Raptors basketball squad (Research Triangle Park, NC), was outscored 73-62 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC)

With the victory, Wake Prep Academy advances its record to 18-2 on the year. The Guardians host East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC) to meet the Eagles in a 1A/2A Super Six battle on Friday, January 31. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 3-11. East Wake Academy lost 60-26 in their recent league battle against Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC)

The Raptors now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Falls Lake for a 1A/2A Super Six battle on Thursday, January 30. Research Triangle will meet a Firebirds squad coming off a 69-28 league loss to Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 4-12.
