The Westbury Huskies basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Sharpstown Apollos to 34 in the Huskies league triumph on Wednesday.

The Huskies now possess a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Galena Park for a 5A Region III District 21 game on Saturday, February 1. Westbury will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 60-31 league win over Sharpstown (Houston, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 11-15.

With the loss, Sharpstown falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Apollos travel to Austin (Houston, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 21 game on Friday, January 31. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 11-14. Austin lost 76-57 in their recent league game against Waltrip (Houston, TX)
