California High School Basketball - St. Paul held off by St. Anthony

In Wednesday's league test, the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), by a score of 66-60.

Next, the Saints encounter the St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) in a Del Rey test, on Monday, February 3. St. Anthony will attempt to improve on its 17-6 season record. The Mariners come into the test with a 18-9 record after their 51-49 league loss to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA).

The Swordsmen (15-11) will now prepare for their test against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Mariners come into the Del Rey test with a 18-8 record. In their last test, St. Monica held off St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA), 71-68, in a league test.
